What to expect if you want your claim to go to court...
Court cost and Suit Fee - If you authorized law suit, the
agency will inform you of court cost and suit fees requested by
the attorney. They are in addition to the contingent fee.
Court costs- Filing fees, service of process, etc vary from
state to state, court cost are recoverable if collected.
Attorneys Suit Fee - Attorney fees are for work required
in preparing and filing the necessary papers for suit. They also
cover appearances in court. The way these fees are billed varies
from attorney to attorney.
Witnesses - If there is an uncontested default judgment
, witnesses are usually not required ,but in some cases the court
may require them.
Counter Claims - If a debtor files a counter claim a separate
fee maybe required by the attorney. We will advise you of the amount
required to defend the action.
The final decision is yours - You must determine the likelihood
of recovery of a claim and the probable amount of recovery.
